If you are between 50 and 69 years of age, you will automatically receive an invitation in the mail from the Director of Public Health to go for a mammogram at a designated screening centre. This letter will serve as your medical prescription.

On the day of your appointment, you will be asked to fill out a consent form, this will register you into the Quebec Breast Cancer Screening Program and a copy of your results will be sent to your home. Every 2 years you will receive a notice to have a mammogram.
